Abstract In 1952, Loja Saarinen donated a half size May Festival tapestry to the new school in the village of Bobäck, less than a mile from Hvitträsk. The tapestry depicts the center square of the tapestry which hangs in the Dining Room at Kingswood School. The tapestry remained in the school for more than 60 years until the school underwent a major reconstruction project leaving no space for the tapestry.
